The course begins from the basics of photography and covers all aspects of commercial photography, including practical knowledge of assisting a mentor or running one's own show, to handling business and people, its a comprehensive commercial photography course that prepares the students for the professional world - to be able to break into the industry and make a place of their own.
Echoing the diversity of the faculty, the hands-on practical classes are held in different and real working environments . Udaan School of Photography has three separate studios/classrooms, a library, computer room etc.. The students often get to work and interact with actual professionals like food stylists, models, make-up artists and other advertising professionals, during their course -- exactly what a photographer has to deal with in the professional world.
Equipped with an effective portfolio and with the experience of having learnt in a multi-studio environment during the course at Udaan, the students will be ready to step-out in the professional world with confidence and the Udaan edge.
The regular faculty of the Udaan consists of Tarun Vachhar, Bharat Mirchandani, Kedar Malegaonkar, Bharat Lakhani, and Arko Datta. This is apart from several guest faculty and speakers comprising of leading photographers, art directors, artists etc.

Class timings : 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm (subject to convenience of student & faculty)
Five days a week - between Monday & Friday
(Two to three classes a week and the rest of the days are practical training sessions which are optional as per the convenience of the students)
Studios shall also be frequently available for practice during weekends too
